Dear Merriam Community,
An online group is being created as a forum for parents, faculty,
and staff to share thoughts and feedback on the principal search
process.
Please observe these guidelines:
- Comments should focus on what is important to the Merriam
experience. What is it about the Merriam culture that we value?
What qualities are we looking for in our next principal? What
priorities would we like to encourage?
- No personal stories should be posted to the forum. If you'd
like to share such a story, please email a committee member
directly.
To join, simply enter your email
address below and click the 'Subscribe' button. Then follow the
instructions in the email you receive - it will ask you to follow a
link to confirm your subscription. You will be asked to give your
name and (if applicable) the names of your children's teachers. Once
your request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive
another email confirming that you are a member of the group.

Once you are a member of the group,
there are two ways to participate.
- The first is as a member of a mailing list. You will receive
any message submitted to the group in your email and will have
the ability to submit to the group via email by simply
addressing a message to:
merriam-principal-search @googlegroups.com.
- The second is by logging on to the Google Groups website -
http://groups.google.com/group/merriam-principal-search. To
do this, you will need a Google Account. If you already have
one, you can just sign in to it. Otherwise, you will need to
create one. You can use your current email address (you do not
need to create a Google email address) and choose a
password.Note that if someone else uses your computer and is
already signed in to Google, you should 'Sign Out' from that
user's account and create or use your own.
