| Hello, and a warm welcome back to all of our Merriam families. We hope that your child’s school year has started off well. This year’s PTO activities and events will be limited but we are still intent on coming up with new ways to support and engage our community. These N2K emails will arrive in your inbox each Sunday night and will contain information about any important upcoming school or district events. It is also used as our call for volunteers. There is no need to “join” the PTO- you are a part of the PTO as a member of our school community. Please attend our events and meetings, share your thoughts, and volunteer when you are able. We look forward to meeting everyone as the year progresses! Volunteer Opportunities- Our PTO Board is in search of a Treasurer and also someone to coordinate this year’s directory. The space looks much improved and we really appreciated all of your hard work. (ALICIA HAYES) If you have not already, please remember to fill your family information in Powerschool. This includes your preferences for directory information and inclement weather information. This year the Merriam directory will move online. This has been done successfully at the junior high and high school and we will follow suit this year. It will be accessed through Powerschool and should be available in a few weeks.
