Passport Night – January TBA – 5:30 pm

Winter Fair – Saturday, February 7 – 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Volunteer for the steering committee to organize this community event with activities, food and prizes!
- Room parents organize classroom fair booths for students to participate in.
Literacy Week – March 2nd-6th
- Support Literacy Week events by organizing volunteers for the special events each day this week.
Merriam Night Out in West Acton Village – Thursday, March 5th
- Coordinate with West Acton businesses for a community event where a percentage of sales support our school. Participants last year were Silver Unicorn, Westside Creamery and True West Brewery to round out a great community night out!
Merriam March Madness – Thursday, March 19 – 5:30 pm
- Staff vs. Parents Basketball Game – a family favorite Merriam tradition!
Arts Showcase – Saturday, April 11 – 3:00 – 5:00 pm
- Assist with coordinating volunteers for this event to highlight the talent and creativity of our students!
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon – Wednesday, May 6 – 1:00 pm
- Organize donations of food and drinks for a Teacher Appreciation Lunch.
6th Grade Moving Up Ceremony – June TBA
- Work with 6th grade teachers to organize volunteers in support of this special tradition celebrating our 6th graders. This volunteer opportunity is targeted to families of students in lower grades so that 6th grade families can participate in and enjoy the event.
Field Day – June TBA
- Organize volunteers to support field day with setup, running games, and cleaning up after the day!
